Dark Twisted Leaked…
You didn’t hear it from us, but word is that Kanye West’s latest studio album, set for a November 22 release, is all over the torrent sites, fresh for downloading. We’re sure that this will be grabbed by all kinds of music aficionados at the expense of Mr. West’s sanity, who threatened to cancel the G.O.O.D. Friday installments because of one leaked song of the album earlier last month. Regardless of how we feel about leaks and the problem of integrity they pose to artists’ work, we can’t wait to see what he’ll have to say about this one. Matt Lauer is clearly the least of his worries at this point…

Attention all environmentalists: Levi’s has gone green. Keeping in mind that the average jean uses up to eleven gallons of water to produce, Levi’s has introduced a collection that uses 96% less water. The jeans are available in all the classic fits, and even make for an interesting wash. This is amazing news for people who try to limit themselves to buying handmade clothes but who have a hard time shelling out five hundred dollars for a pair of Rag & Bone chinos, or 400$ for Quoddy boots. This collection on the other hand will keep you looking good, keep your wallet fuller, and save an estimated 4 million gallons of water for the first shipment. Given the fact that many people are trying to find ways to be green while maintaining some degree of swagger, this should make for a promising collection. Let’s keep it clean people!

Though he’s been behind some of the great prep collections of the past decade, most notably as creative director of J.Press, his collection Mark McNairy New Amsterdam has been off the chain as of late. These derbies are part of a collaboration with L.A. based store Union and U.K. shoemakers Sanders & Sanders.
